Michael Carrick has urged his Manchester United team-mates not to ease up in the title race.
The Red Devils seem to have recovered well from their stuttering start to the season and have reclaimed the summit of the table.
Three successive wins have put them in this position, while still having a game in hand, as well as a two-point advantage over Manchester City and Chelsea.
Chelsea's early season dominance is now a distant memory as United have regrouped from their poor start, found form and are now the bookmakers' favourites to win.
"You hope that spell is behind us," Carrick told the club's official website.
"It's never far away though if you start to take your foot off the pedal. A couple of bad performances and bad results aren't far behind.
"That what keeps you going and keeps you on your toes.
"You've got to keep the standards high, and that's been the strength of this club over the years, maintaining that quality."
He added: "It was a frustrating time earlier in the season when we felt we were throwing away some games when we were in front.
"Now, we look back and it seems as though we've had a good run under the circumstances having not lost a game yet, and we're satisfied with the position we're in.
"It's funny how things can change in this league, but we're not getting carried away."
