Liverpool keeper Brad Jones was pleased with the clean sheet after the goalless stalemate with FC Utrecht on Wednesday.
Roy Hodgson's side were held by the Dutch outfit at Anfield as they finished their Europa League Group K campaign unbeaten.
Jones had little to do in the disappointing game, which was only his second appearance since his £2million move from Middlesbrough in the summer.
But given his first appearance came in the shock Carling Cup defeat to Northampton in September, he was just pleased to be playing again and to have kept a clean sheet.
Jones told the Liverpool Echo: "It was great to play.
"It's always difficult when you haven't played for a while to come into the side and maybe that showed a couple of times.
"There were a few things that if I'd had a run of games I would have been a bit smoother with but I'm happy with the clean sheet and happy just to get an opportunity to play."
