Scunthorpe United have denied that Nottingham Forest have made an offer for winger Martyn Woolford.
Reports have suggested that Championship rivals Forest had made a £400,000 bid for the 25-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
However, Iron boss Ian Baraclough claims there has been no bid and that Scunthorpe have offered Woolford a new deal.
"We've offered Martyn a new deal but he doesn't want to discuss his future at the moment," Baraclough said.
"The speculation concerning him is unsettling for not only the player but all concerned."
Woolford joined Scunthorpe from York City for an undisclosed fee in 2008.
His finest moment was scoring the winning goal in the League One play-off final in 2009 against Millwall.
