Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley knows the festive period can be make-or-break in football and he wants The Bhoys to shine.
The Bhoys have enjoyed a decent campaign to date, although they find themselves three points behind Rangers with 15 games played.
The fixtures come thick and fast at the turn of the New Year and Ledley has urged his team-mates to stay on their game.
With injuries and suspensions also coming into the mix the former Cardiff City ace knows Neil Lennon's squad depth will be tested.
"The Christmas period is one of the most vital parts of the campaign and can make or break your season," he told Celtic View.
"There are always a lot of games in a short amount of time. We have games on December 21, Boxing Day, December 29 and then on January 2.
"You can get injuries and suspensions, while some teams might be missing key players. It's a vital part of the season.
"If we can get a 100 per cent record over the Christmas period it would be a great achievement. So it's massive.
"Obviously we all want to win the league so this is important for the rest of the season."
