Defender Rod Fanni is set to depart Stade Rennes for Marseille, the Ligue 1 champions have confirmed.
The 29-year-old France international will sign at the Stade Velodrome on a two-and-a-half year deal, subject to a medical on Wednesday evening.
Marseille said on their official website: "An agreement has been reached between Marseille, Rennes and Rod Fanni for the two-and-a-half year deal that will be signed when the player has undergone the usual medical checks on Wednesday night."
Right-back Fanni steps in at Marseille as a replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta, who was ruled out for the season last month due to injury.
Fanni, who started his senior career at Martigues in 1999, has won five caps for France, the most recent of which came in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Norway in August.
