Norwich's Leon Barnett has accepted a Football Association charge of improper conduct.
The Canaries defender incurred the wrath of the authorities during Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth.
Upon receiving a second yellow card for conceding a penalty, Barnett proceeded to throw the ball at referee Simon Hooper.
He is now set to be punished for those actions, but has requested a personal hearing with the Football Disciplinary Commission.
The FDC will hold the hearing on Wednesday 22nd December.
Barnett must serve a one-game suspension following his dismissal, meaning he will sit out Norwich's trip to Coventry on Saturday.
