Hibbert targets March return

Peterborough United's injured striker Dave Hibbert has targeted a return to first-team action in March.

The 24-year-old, who joined Posh in the summer from Shrewsbury, underwent surgery on Friday on the dislocated knee he suffered during the 4-1 FA Cup win over Stockport on November 16. Hibbert told BBC Sport: "I'll have the knee brace on for another three weeks, then I'll see the specialist and hopefully I can start getting everything moving but I'm looking at probably March time before I'm back. "I'm anxious to get back, I haven't played a lot of football this season and that's what I want to do. When you don't get the chance it's disappointing. "Its frustrating. I was starting to get a bit of a look in and then I get hit by this, so it's not ideal. I've got to not rush it, make sure it's healed properly and hopefully come back fitter and stronger."
