Carlo Ancelotti will make a late decision on whether to recall fit-again Frank Lampard for Chelsea's weekend clash with Tottenham.
The England international midfielder has been a long-term absentee for the Blues, but has now resumed full-time training.
Chelsea are winless in four in Premier League action and Ancelotti is keen for the ex-league leaders to get their campaign back on track.
Ashley Cole and Nicolas Anelka will be available for Chelsea's trip to White Hart Lane after sitting out Wednesday's UEFA Champions League defeat at Marseille.
Jose Bosingwa limped out of the loss at Stade Velodrome with a hamstring injury and misses the game with Spurs, although Ancelotti is quietly confident on Lampard's progress.
"Bosingwa has a hamstring problem, so he's not available for the next game," confirmed the Italian.
"Lampard trained (on Wednesday) without any problem. In the next two or three days we'll take a decision about him."
