Skysports.com understands a number of clubs are chasing Manchester United youngster James Chester.
Chester, who is currently on loan at Carlisle, has been earning rave reviews during his stint at Brunton Park.
The 21-year-old has made 14 appearances and scored three goals for Carlisle, and a number of scouts have been monitoring his progress at the League One side.
Chester is on loan at Carlisle until the end of December and a number of Championship and League One clubs are thought to be weighing up a move for the centre-back in the January transfer window.
Chester is highly regarded at Old Trafford, but they may consider selling him in January if they receive a suitable offer as he is well down the pecking order in Sir Alex Ferguson's first-team plans.
