Craig Bellamy remains confident Cardiff City can win promotion to the Premier League this season following the club's recent dip in form.
The Bluebirds have won just once in their last six Championship games and have lost to promotion rivals Swansea City and Queens Park Rangers during that run.
And, on Saturday, Cardiff required a 94th minute equaliser from Andy Keogh to salvage a 1-1 draw at home to bottom club Preston North End.
However, on-loan striker Bellamy is not troubled by the current slump and is upbeat about the team's prospects for the coming months.
Impatient
Bellamy told the club's official website: "At the moment we are not playing at the level we are capable of and there's loads we can improve on. That's what excites me about this team this season, there's a lot more to come from us.
"Personally I know I need to get better and I can guarantee everyone that I will do that. As a team we need to improve and again, I can assure everyone we'll do that.
"Let's remember we are second from top, not second from bottom. We're all very impatient for success this year as we've waited so long for it . We're nearly there now and we've got a great chance this season to see it through.
"We're Cardiff City and expectations are high here. We're aiming to provide this club with top-flight football and I'm sure we're capable of achieving that."
