Leeds United's contract rebel Bradley Johnson insists he is not being greedy and simply wants a deal in line with the club's first-team regulars.
The 23-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far rejected the club's attempts to secure him on fresh terms.
Johnson is one of only two Leeds players to have played in every single Championship game this season along with Jonathan Howson.
The box-to-box midfielder was booed by some fans in Saturday's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace - his first Elland Road appearance since rejecting Leeds' offer.
Johnson maintains he is keen to get his long-term future resolved as he loves the club and that he will sign when he receives fair terms.

"It's hard to take. I love the club, I love the fans and I want to be here," he said. "There's been a breakdown in communications with my contract and I want to get it sorted.
"It's not me being greedy or anything but I just want to be treated as an equal. When I came, I said I wanted to get Leeds out of League One and I've done that. Now I want to get them into the Premier League and hopefully we can sort something out.
"It is disappointing hearing the booing but everyone has their opinions and their right to express them. It's unfair because no-one knows what is going on behind closed doors. I've just got to get my head down and work hard.
"As long as I am here I will give 100 per cent. If I am not here at the end of the season, I will still love Leeds. I've enjoyed my football and had the best time of my career here so far. Long may it continue.
"I don't want the situation dragging on and I don't want to be booed every game for the rest of the season. I am not being big-headed but I've helped get the club to where they are.
"I love the club, I love the fans and I love the boys. I go in every day training with them with a smile on my face. They are a great bunch of lads and I want to be here with them.
"They all want me to sign. Every day they are asking me what's happening but it's down to my agent and the club and hopefully it can be sorted. I will wait as long as it takes but I don't like being booed."
