The Brazilian international has stated that he would like to extend his stay with the club he joined in 2008.

However, he is not a first-choice under Allegri - who has made it clear that he will only be handed a new deal if he is committed to the Rossoneri.

"Ronaldinho is working and he's at my disposal to play," said Allegri.

"I believe that there must be players at Milan who want to be at Milan. Results are only obtained with the great motivation of everyone within the group.

"Neither me or the club would keep a player against his will."

Balotelli

Allegri also spoke about the recent links with Mario Balotelli.

"As Mr Galliani said, should a striker arrive, he must be right," he said.

"Is Balotelli so? No, because he's at Man City and I don't like talking about other sides' players.

"Surely should he arrive, I wouldn't be angry."
