Liverpool youngsters Dani Pacheco and Martin Kelly have committed their futures to the club until 2014.
Spanish forward Pacheco, 19, has been touted as an exciting prospect since moving to Anfield in 2007 following a spell in Barcelona's youth academy.
He has continued to progress with the Reds but has yet to make a significant first-team breakthrough and was recently linked with a switch back to his homeland.
Roy Hodgson rejected those rumours and urged Pacheco to work hard and seize any opportunity that might come along.
The teenager has now signed a two-year extension to his current deal and will be looking to establish himself in Hodgson's starting XI.
Kelly will have similar ambitions after putting pen-to-paper on a fresh three-year contract to also keep him at Liverpool until the summer of 2014.
The 20-year-old has earned praise from Hodgson this season after filling in admirably for first-choice right-back Glen Johnson.
