The Brazilian full-back has 18 months left on his current deal, and the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City are both said to be keen on signing him.

Talks have thus far failed to reach agreement with Barcelona but, despite the impasse, Alves is hopeful a deal will be struck.

"My priority is to continue with Barca," he said following the 5-0 thrashing of Real Madrid in El Clasico on Monday.

"Still I have 18 months left on the current deal and I do not have any pressure to sign.

"But I expect the solution will be positive."
