Cristian Zapata's agent has played down reports linking Manchester City with a move for the Udinese defender.
Reports in England and Italy have claimed big-spending City are weighing up a move for Zapata when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 24-year-old is highly-rated throughout Europe with the likes of Arsenal and Inter Milan also credited with an interest in the player in the past.
However, Zapata's representative, Massimo Italiani, insists he has had no contact with City or any other club regarding the Colombia international.
"I have read about City, but there has been no contact from anyone," Italiani told Calciomercato.it.
"However, I am not surprised he is linked with big clubs. Cristian likes the Premier League and he has always dreamed of playing there.
"Maybe he could go there in future. You never know what can happen in the market.
"The market is strange and I don't exclude anything but I think Udinese don't want to let him go in January."
