Chelsea striker happy with strike

Daniel Sturridge is hopeful his latest goal will be the stepping stone to more action. The Chelsea striker scored his second goal of the season against MSK Zilina on Tuesday to help the Blues to a 2-1 success. Now Sturridge is hoping that the strike will go some way to showing boss Carlo Ancelotti that he is worthy of more action. "I feel lively and I've had some chances in the last few games, so it's a good feeling to be back on the scoresheet," he told Chelsea's official website. "Hopefully I'll get a chance in the next few games to show what I can do on a regular basis. "I was happy playing in my position up front and it was great to be able to play there. "The manager showed faith in me and I was glad I was able to score a goal."
