AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri praised Ronaldinho's contribution in Tuesday's 2-0 win at Auxerre.
The Italian giants sealed their place in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League thanks to a professional performance at the Stade Abbe-Deschamps.
Ronaldinho has been restricted to appearances from the substitutes' bench of late but the Brazil international made an impact in France with a goal in added time.
The former World Player of the Year took his goal with aplomb after Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave the Rossoneri the lead on 65 minutes with his fourth goal in the competition and Allegri was glad for the win on foreign soil.
He said: "Ronaldinho made a good entrance. He played well and scored a great goal.
"We were under heavy pressure at the start of the match and we felt a little bit trapped inside our penalty area, but everything finished well."
Milan are certain to finish Group G as runners-up to Real Madrid, who beat Ajax 4-0 on Tuesday.
