Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has confirmed he is set to be without captain Charlie Adam this weekend.
The 25-year-old midfielder has returned to Bloomfield Road having picked up a knee injury on international duty.
Adam was forced off 55 minutes into Scotland's 3-0 win over the Faroe Islands on Tuesday after suffering medial ligament damage.
And Holloway has admitted the Seasiders' star man is unlikely to be fit for Saturday's visit of Wolves.
"I don't think he is going to be available, he couldn't train this morning," he said on Thursday.
"But we will leave it right until the last minute Saturday morning.
"It is not as serious as they thought it was in the Scotland set-up but it does feel a little more sore today."
The former Rangers man has played a pivotal role in Blackpool's positive start to the season, scoring four goals in 14 matches and earning a recall to the Scotland squad.
