Skysports.com understands Leyton Orient are facing a fight to keep hold of highly-rated midfielder Dean Cox.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a stellar start to the season for Orient with his performances attracting interest from clubs higher up the football pyramid.
A number of Championship clubs are thought to have watched Cox in action this term and are keeping tabs on his progress.
Cox made his 200th career appearance in the weekend win over Bristol Rovers and he marked the milestone with a goal in the 3-0 victory.
The former Brighton man has been an ever-present for Orient this season and he has chipped in with five goals from midfield.
