Skysports.com understands Hull are lining up a move for Leicester striker Matty Fryatt.
Hull have struggled for goals this season and Tigers boss Nigel Pearson has targeted Fryatt as the man to solve their problem in attack.
Pearson knows all about Fraytt having worked with him at Leicester and he is a big fan of the 24-year-old.
Fryatt, who was Leicester's top scorer last season, has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Foxes starting XI this term.
The former Walsall man has found himself warming the bench under Sven Goran Eriksson and the arrival of Darius Vassell has pushed him down the pecking order.
Fryatt could be interested in a move away in search of regular first-team football, but it remains to be seen if Leicester will let him leave.
