AC Milan strikers Filippo Inzaghi and Alexandre Pato will miss Sunday's derby against Inter after picking up injuries against Palermo.
Pato opened the scoring in Wednesday's 3-1 win over Palermo, but was replaced midway through the second half by Inzaghi after suffering a thigh injury.
However, Inzaghi lasted only 15 minutes before hurting his knee and he was replaced by Robinho, who scored Milan's third goal.
Both players are due to undergo scans on Friday to assess the extent of the injuries, but have already been ruled out of the weekend's showdown with fierce rivals Inter.
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri told Sky Italia: "Unfortunately, we lost Pato and Inzaghi, two players who have been doing good things.
"I'm sorry, especially for Inzaghi, who has suffered a knee problem. Let's hope it won't be serious.
"Pato suffered a muscular problem and I think it will be 24 hours before we will be able to know the situation."
