German goalkeeper Michael Rensing has confirmed he will not be joining Championship side Leicester City.
The 26-year-old is without a club after his contract expired at Bayern Munich at the end of last season.
Rensing had recently joined up with the Foxes on trial and impressed boss Sven Goran Eriksson.
But the shot-stopper told tz: "I have decided not to accept a move (to Leicester City) as I feel joining this club is actually not the best option I have."
Rensing made over 50 appearances for Bayern before being released, whilst he has represented Germany at Under 21 level.
