Birmingham City forward Garry O'Connor has rejoined Barnsley on a one-month emergency loan deal.
The 27-year-old Scotland international spent a month at Oakwell earlier in the season where he made four appearances for the Tykes, scoring once.
A deal was set to be completed on Friday but suffered technical delays and had to be finalised at the start of the week.
O'Connor will go straight into Barnsley's squad for the Championship clash with Preston on Tuesday night and will remain at the club until 10th October.
Barnsley are currently 18th in the table and go into the North End game having lost out to Leicester at the weekend.
