AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi would like Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero to finish his career at the San Siro.
Del Piero became Juve's all-time leading scorer in Serie A last Sunday when netting in a 2-1 victory at the San Siro.
But the Italian forward's contract expires in the summer and a decision has yet to be made on his future.
Berlusconi would therefore like to sign Del Piero in a free deal and after the 35-year-old's goal against Milan he proposed a move.
The Milan supremo told Agi: "I went to the changing room to congratulate everyone and especially Del Piero.
"I told him that I know his contract is set to expire and I offered him the chance to come to Milan."
But Del Piero's agent and brother, Stefano, insists that the striker is in no hurry to decide on his next move.
He told calciomercato.it: "Alessandro has never asked for a meeting with Juventus' leaders. He is not worried about the end of his contract in June."
