Northern Ireland international striker David Healy has joined Doncaster on loan from Sunderland.
The 31-year-old has struggled to force his way into the first-team picture at the Stadium of Light and has agreed a 28-day move to Rovers.
Healy has not appeared in Steve Bruce's first team since January and was pushed further down the pecking order by the Black Cats boss' summer signings.
The arrivals of £13million-plus man Asamoah Gyan and loan signing Danny Welbeck restricted his opportunities to an even greater extent.
Healy, who is his country's leading all-time international goalscorer with 35, made 12 appearances on loan at Ipswich last season.
He is expected to go straight into Sean O'Driscoll's squad for Saturday's Championship clash with Millwall at the Keepmoat Stadium.
