Norwich have dismissed reports linking them with a move for highly-rated winger Ryan Harley.
The 25-year-old has caught the eye at the start of the season, scoring eight goals in 14 games for League One Exeter.
The former Bristol City trainee is out of contract in the summer, sparking speculation Norwich were targeting him as a potential replacement for the in-form Wes Hoolahan.
But the Championship outfit insist there is no truth in the claims.
A Norwich statement said: "The club can emphatically confirm that we are not interested in signing Harley and that Wes Hoolahan is a key player for us and a very highly-valued member of the Norwich City squad."
Hoolahan, 28, has missed just one league game for the Canaries so far this season, helping them go fourth in the table with three goals from 12 appearances.
