Hull City veteran Nick Barmby is not ruling out the option of extending his playing career for another season.
The 36-year-old was expected to steadily wind down his playing days this season after also taking on coaching duties at the KC Stadium over the summer.
However, the midfielder has made 11 appearances for the Tigers this term and is leaving the door open regarding his playing future.
Barmby old the Hull Daily Mail: "I feel all right at the minute.
"There's a lot documented about the older players, but if you feel fit it doesn't matter how old you are.
"I've been feeling good for the past couple of years. I've been feeling fit and sharp.
"I still love my football so as long as that continues, I'll continue to play."
