Dani Alves' agent claims big clubs are after the right-back, with Chelsea thought to be keeping tabs on his progress.
The 27-year-old Barcelona defender has failed to agree new terms at the Camp Nou although talks are still set to continue.
His current deal with the Catalan club is set to expire in June 2012 and Premier League champions Chelsea are rumoured to be preparing an offer for the Brazilian.
Alves' agent Joaquin Macanas wants Barca to give the player a contract he deserves, with other top sides in the frame.
"Dani is one of the best defenders in the world and the big clubs desire his services," Macanas said in the Spanish media.
"We only ask that Barca value him in reality for his work and development during these years."
Alves is thought to be valued by Primera Liga champions Barcelona at €30million (£26m) and Chelsea would reportedly offer him a four-year contract if any deal is done.
