West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo is sweating over the fitness of duo Jonas Olsson and Marc-Antoine Fortune.
Swedish central defender Olsson and former Celtic striker Fortune are both awaiting the results of scans after they picked up injuries during Saturday's 2-1 home victory against Fulham.
Olsson had to be substituted after 54 minutes with an Achilles problem and Fortune was also taken off with an ankle injury.
Fortune, 29, bagged his first goal of the season in the win which lifted the Baggies into fourth spot in the Premier League for 24 hours.
Di Matteo confirmed: "Jonas has an Achilles problem and Marc an ankle injury.
"We will see how they are after scans. They will tell us more."
Meanwhile, leading goalscorer Peter Odemwingie is making a slow recovery from a knee problem and Di Matteo says he will resist the temptation to rush the Nigeria international back into action.
He said: "We want Peter back as soon as possible but we don't want to rush him back and then lose him for a long time.
"We want him to be back in training this week. That is our aim but we will know more later this week."
West Brom take on Sven-Goran Eriksson's Leicester in the fourth round of the Carling Cup on Tuesday night before next Monday's Premier League clash at Blackpool live on Sky Sports.
