United defender keen for club to address their leaking of goals

John O'Shea has acknowledged that Manchester United must swiftly address their defensive frailties. The Red Devils have been uncharacteristically shaky in defence this season, with the club conceding 10 goals in eight league matches. Indeed, at the weekend United again let slip a two-goal advantage against West Brom as they slumped to a draw at Old Trafford. "It is hard to explain why we are losing the goals we have," said O'Shea. "You see the quality and the record we have had in the past but it is something we have to address quickly. With the players we have we will do that. "Nine times out of 10 if we keep a clean sheet we are going to win the game because of the attacking quality we have."
