Swansea City have signed Marvin Emnes on loan from Championship rivals Middlesbrough.
The 22-year-old Dutchman is very much surplus to requirements at the Riverside under Gordon Strachan.
Despite Boro's struggles, Emnes has failed to force his way into contention and has not played a single game this season.
The Under-21 international forward, who joined Boro for more than £3million in 2008 from Sparta Rotterdam, has only ever scored one league goal for the club - coincidentally at Swansea.
Emnes will move to South Wales on an initial one-month loan and is in line to be involved against QPR on Tuesday.
