Rangers will be without Lee McCulloch for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League showdown with Valencia, the SPL champions have confirmed.
The 32-year-old attacking midfielder was substituted at half-time during Scotland's dramatic 3-2 defeat to Spain in the Euro 2012 qualifiers with a groin injury.
He has failed to shrug off the injury in time for Saturday's league fixture against Motherwell and it has now been confirmed that he will definitely miss next week's Group C tie at Ibrox.
"Lee played a half for Scotland and he came back with a groin injury," Rangers manager Walter Smith said. "We think he will be out for two weeks, so he will miss some important games."
Kirk Broadfoot (foot) and James Beattie (hip) will also miss the match against Motherwell with the latter having little chance of returning in time to face the Primera Liga leaders.
Rangers have picked up four points from their first two group games, against Manchester United and Turkish champions Bursaspor.
