Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson has made Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies his second signing at the club.
Davies has joined the Foxes on a one-month loan deal after Villa boss Gerard Houllier agreed to let him leave on a temporary basis.
The 25-year-old has dropped down the pecking order at Villa Park and Houllier is happy to let him go out and get some match action under his belt.
Davies is expected to go straight into the Leicester side for this weekend's home clash with Hull City.
Meanwhile, Villa have also loaned out young striker James Collins Jr to Burton Albion for a month.
