West Brom defender Jonas Olsson insists the Baggies deserve to be in the Premier League's top six ahead of their trip to Manchester United.
Roberto Di Matteo's men have made an excellent start to the campaign following their promotion from the Championship last time out, having managed 11 points from seven games so far.
Olsson, 27, believes his side deserve their top-half place in the division, and is eagerly anticipating the Old Trafford clash on Saturday.
He said: "We are not going to apologise for being sixth because we deserve to be where we are.
"We've produced good performances against Arsenal and Tottenham in the league, played well at Liverpool even though we lost, and defeated Manchester City in the Carling Cup.
"We need to keep going and keep believing in our game plan but if you win at the Emirates, you shouldn't fear anyone."
West Brom managed a fantastic 3-2 win at the Emirates last month, and they have well and truly bounced back from their opening-day 6-0 drubbing at Chelsea.
"When you look back at your career, you remember going to places like Old Trafford and the Emirates," Olsson added.
"The way we're playing at the moment makes me confident and inspired to go there.
"We've earned the right to go there (Old Trafford) and give them a test."
