West Ham defender Danny Gabbidon has hailed the impact of Victor Obinna in the club's recent improved run of form.
Obinna has caught the eye in recent weeks as West Ham have bounced back from a slow start to the season to go on a four-game unbeaten run in all competitions.
The Nigerian striker is currently on a season-long loan deal from Inter Milan and Gabbidon admits the forward's form has played a huge role in West Ham's upturn in fortunes.
"I am happy we managed to sign Obinna as he has done very well and added something to the team," Gabbidon told skysports.com.
"He is hungry to play and he has got pace and skill and the fans have really taken to him.
"Along with Frederic Piquionne they look a good partnership and they have definitely added to the team and hopefully there is a lot more to come from them."
