Juventus defender Leandro Rinaudo has been ruled out for the rest of the year with a back injury.
Rinaudo has been struggling with a back problem for some time and he underwent surgery earlier this week for a herniated disc.
The 27-year-old is set to be sidelined for up to three months meaning he will not be available until the New Year.
A Juventus statement read: "The surgery was successful. The player will remain in hospital for 48 hours.
"The recovery period is estimated at three months."
Rinaudo has made one league appearance since joining Juve on loan from Napoli this summer.
