Luis Fabiano's agent has cooled suggestions that the Brazil international is set for a January move to Inter Milan.
The 29-year-old striker wanted to leave Sevilla during the summer but a move did not materialise and he ultimately signed a new contract, tying him to the Andalucian club until 2013.
But just weeks later he has become unsettled again at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan having been handed just one league start so far this season.
Inter have allegedly been long-time admirers of Fabiano and were expected to launch a bid to sign the former Porto man during the next transfer window.
But his agent, Jose Fuentes, believes he could still have a future at Sevilla with Greorio Manzano having replaced Antonio Alvarez in the coaching hotseat at the end of last month.
"At the moment, I have not heard anything from Inter, nor from other clubs in respect to January," he told calciomercato.it.
"There's no doubt that the player is down in the dumps. He wanted to leave during the summer and there were formal offers from Tottenham Hotspur, Marseille, Schalke and Fenerbahce, but they didn't interest us.
"We have renewed his contract until 2013 but now he's not playing. I don't know the reason - let's see what happens with new coach Greorio Manzano."
