Recalled Stoke defender Danny Collins is aiming to start Wales' Euro 2012 qualifier against Bulgaria - three years after last featuring for the national side against the same opposition.
Collins has been recalled to the international scene for the first game of caretaker manager Brian Flynn's new regime.
The 30-year-old, who has won six caps, fell out of favour with previous boss John Toshack and he is determined to make the most of his second chance.
He said: "Brian came to the training ground and had a word with me.
"I am looking forward to the games as we have some good young players coming through.
"I am 30 now so I am not getting any younger and you want to get as many caps as you can."
