Arsenal do have the physical and mental strength needed to mount a Premier League title challenge, according to midfielder Alex Song.
Critics have labelled the Gunners as being 'too soft' to push Chelsea and Manchester United all the way and the shock home defeat to West Brom raised further questions about their title credentials.
But Cameroon international Song reckons the players have faith in their own ability.
He said: "People say that Arsenal aren't as physical as they were in the past, with players like Tony Adams and Patrick Vieira.
"But we still have those kind of players.
"Like when I see Tomas Rosicky play I think he is very hard, a very tough guy.
"But he is never given credit for that side of his game.
"Just because we lose one game to West Brom doesn't mean we have lost our confidence.
"Far from it - we still have our confidence."
