Gers were in UEFA Champions League action during midweek, recording a 1-0 scalp of Bursaspor at Ibrox.

Walter Smith's side next face a tricky trip to Hearts, and McCulloch admits the fixture schedule will be a test of their resolve.

He said: "We had the game on Sunday and then the Champions League game and I think everyone was getting a bit leggy in the last 20 minutes or so.

"Bursaspor had an extra day and a half recovery compared to us after having their game on Friday night.

"We've got a game on Saturday to look to now. It does get a little bit tough but we're going to have to deal with it.

"It's a massive game on Saturday, Hearts away is always a tough place to go but we'll be looking to get a win there."
