St Johnstone defender Steven Anderson has received a one-match suspension following his double booking against Dundee United.
Referee Brian Winter flashed two yellow cards towards Anderson in Saturday's clash between the two sides but Anderson escaped a red as the official forgot to record the first caution.
The Scottish Football Association's disciplinary committee decided Anderson should receive the normal punishment for a dismissal, but the sanction will be delayed.
Anderson, who was booked for two challenges on David Goodwillie during his team's 1-0 defeat, will be free to play in the SPL visit of Hibernian on Saturday but will miss the following game against Hamilton.
Saints manager Derek McInnes told his club's official website: "Once we heard that the committee were meeting I felt the ban was inevitable and it was the outcome I was expecting.
"All I would add is that I didn't think Steven deserved to be booked twice. The first yellow card was very soft and I am far from convinced that there was contact with their player. However, the fact is he was booked and we have to accept it."
