The striker returned to action on Tuesday night in the goalless draw at home Oldham.

However, the 31-year-old believes the League One club have turned a corner as focus turns to Saturday's game at Notts County.

Morrison exclusively told skysports.com: "We're not sure exactly why we aren't winning, but we aren't scoring enough goals and we're conceding too many - that's one thing for sure.

"We didn't really create too many clear chances on Tuesday, but we had at least one stonewall penalty turned down, so we're getting in the right areas.

"Some people may say that penalties are more often given to home sides, but we were at home and we felt we didn't get the rub of the green, but that's football."

Form

Alan Irvine's Owls have gone through September without recording a single victory in the league, but they will be looking to start October in better form when they take on County at the weekend.

"Notts County will be no pushover, we know that. They picked up a very good win at Peterborough on Tuesday and they will be full of confidence," admitted the former Coventry and Birmingham striker.

"We can't look at what they have done, we now have to go to Meadow Lane and bounce back.

"We need to do what we do best - win football matches."
