Hearts winger Andrew Driver has received a blow in his bid to return to fitness after suffering a thigh injury.
The 22-year-old is currently in the final stages of recovering from knee surgery, but has now picked up another knock in a behind-closed-doors match against St Johnstone.
Driver has yet to make an appearance for the Hearts first-team this season and manager Jim Jeffries admits it has set him back slightly.
He told Hearts News: "He was just pushing himself hard to get back.
"The problem is a thigh strain and is nothing to do with the previous knee injury which had kept him out.
"It has set him back a wee bit. We're getting him scanned and we'll see how he is after the international break."
Hearts have made a solid start to the SPL campaign and the Edinburgh outfit face a tough test when they host champions Rangers at the weekend.
