In-form striker pens new three-year extension

In-form Watford striker Danny Graham has signed a new three-year contract at Vicarage Road, skysports.com understands. It was reported in June that the 25-year-old was wanted by Swansea after scoring an impressive 14 goals for the Hornets as they secured survival in the Championship last season. But Watford boss Malky Mackay has taken steps to ensure Graham does not leave by agreeing an extended deal. The former Carlisle forward, who joined Watford in July 2009, has scored eight goals in all competitions this season to further increase his reputation. Mackay will now hope that form is carried into the remainder of the campaign as his side aim to continue a positive start, which was only marred by Tuesday's home defeat to Swansea.
