Chelsea attacker Florent Malouda admits he felt under pressure before the UEFA Champions League clash with Marseille on Tuesday night.
The 30-year-old winger played the full 90 minutes for the Blues against L'OM, as the Premier League champions ran out 2-0 winners at Stamford Bridge.
Malouda has been in fine form for Chelsea this season and is expected to be called up to the France squad for next month's Euro 2012 qualifiers with Romania and Luxembourg.
And the former Lyon man admits the fact that he will be returning home with Les Bleus meant he was under more pressure than usual.
"As I should be back in France next week, I was a little under pressure," he said in L'Equipe.
On the performance against Marseille, he added: "The turning point of the match was the first goal which changed everything.
"Then we got a lucky penalty that came at a good moment. The match was not easy.
"Maybe Marseille are not used to that kind of physical play in Le Championnat."
Chelsea currently sit top of Group F and are level on points with Spartak Moscow, with two wins from two.
