Skysports.com understands a number of Premier League clubs are monitoring Swansea's Neil Taylor.
The 21-year-old full-back only joined the Swans from Wrexham over the summer, but has made an immediate impression at the Liberty Stadium.
Taylor has adapted to life in the Championship with ease and has been a revelation for Brendan Rodgers' side during the early stages of the season.
His impressive progress has not gone unnoticed further up the League ladder, with interest from the top flight steadily mounting.
Swansea will not welcome the admiring glances, but will be pleased to see their decision to bring in the youngster justified.
Taylor has already been compared to Tottenham winger, and fellow Welshman, Garth Bale, who has blossomed into a top Premier League performer.
It is expected that Taylor will tread a similar path to his international colleague in the future, having already made his breakthrough into the senior Wales set-up.
For now he remains very much part of the fold at Swansea, but it remains to be seen whether their resolve will be tested when the transfer window re-opens in January.
