Carlisle United have brought in Manchester United youngster Oliver Norwood on an emergency one-month loan deal.
Norwood has moved to Brunton Park to gain first-team experience and will link up with United team-mate James Chester, who is also on loan with the League One club.
The midfielder has yet to make his United debut, but could feature for Carlisle against Brighton on Saturday after Paul Thirlwell suffered a knee injury.
Cumbrians boss Greg Abbott is happy to have landed Norwood, who made his international debut for Northern Ireland against Montenegro last month.
Abbott told the club's official website: "Olly is another good one with an excellent background, and his cap at international level shows how highly thought of he is.
"Technically he is excellent and this will give him a good opportunity to get in and around first-team football."
