Manchester United fans will be given their first glimpse of mysterious summer signing Bebe in a reserve match on Thursday night.
United's second string face Aston Villa and Bebe is in line to start after spending his first few weeks in England building up his fitness.
Bebe was playing third tier football in Portugal just 12 months ago before he was thrust to Old Trafford by manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferguson admitted he had never seen the £7million capture play but moved for the Portuguese star following his switch to Vitoria Guimaraes.
The Red Devils boss has hitherto shielded the 20-year-old from action by opting not to select him for the reserves prior to the international break.
But after two further weeks training under his belt - as well a couple of outings for Portugal's Under-21s - Ferguson feels the time is right to give the player a run out.
