Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has been pleased with the early impact that Egyptian loanee Ahmed Elmohamady has made.
The 23-year-old winger joined The Black Cats in the summer from ENPPI on a season-long loan and he has already turned heads in his four Premier League starts.
Bruce believes the Egypt international provides his squad with something different while he also expects him to continue learning and developing as he has age on his side.
"He is something different to what we have got," stated Bruce. "He has got 30 caps for his country and Egypt are ninth in the world.
"He has got blistering pace - he is a little bit naive at times and he has to learn the game, but then again, he is only 23.
"We need time with him to let him settle in, but he has hit the ground running. I know he wants to be a player - he has got a great attitude for it."
