Wigan defender Antolin Alcaraz is adamant that he should be given the equalising goal against Sunderland at the weekend.
The 28-year-old Paraguay international deflected home a Tom Cleverley shot in the dying minutes at the DW Stadium to deny the 10-man Black Cats and earn his side a point.
Alcaraz has no intention of relinquishing the credit for the strike, and was pleased he managed to help his side avoid defeat.
He said: "It was definitely my goal. Tom's volley was good but it's mine to keep.
"The most important thing, though, was that we took something out of the game.
"One point is better than nothing - although I still feel we should have got the other two. It was definitely two points lost."
The Latics will be looking to build on their point against Sunderland when they take on Manchester City on Sunday.
